It's officially five days until little ghouls and goblins will come knocking on your door saying "Trick or treat!" in there scariest voices, for some sugary sweet candy! But now the question is what type of candy will you be handing out this year? There's the classics like Kit Kat's, Butter Fingers and of course Hershey bars. But how much do you really know about these classics? For the next five days we will be schooling you with some sweet lessons about the five most popular Halloween candy's and how they came to be. This year according to ABC 7 New's Starburst is ranking number five, now before you indulge yourself in these little pieces of fruity heaven you can amaze your friends with these sweet facts! Starbursts were created in the United Kingdom in 1971, and originally were called "Opal Fruits" they made there way to the United states five years later. Well it is a candy thanks to the fruit juice for flavor it actually contains a small source vitamin C, well we wouldn't recommend replacing your morning cup of orange juice with them you can feel a little less guilty as you indulge yourself! The last fun fact we will leave you with today is each Starburst is about the size of a cubic inch, which means it would take 30 million packs of these sweet treats to reach from New York to Los Angeles. Now that's a lot of candy!
