Sanbury Rock Festival.

Sanbury Rock Festival.

On this day in 1975 the Sanbury Rock Festival held its final show, a nice little festival in Australia held on a private 620 acre farm. Well this festival only ran from 1972 to 1975 it could still attract up to 45,000 patrons! But on this day last year which was the festivals last show, Deep purple and AC/DC roadies got into a little dispute on stage. According to Deep purples lead singer vocalist, David Coverdale, "Apparently, a young Aussie band had jumped on stage, plugged into our gear and started playing! Well, all hell broke loose, from what I was told. Our roadies (big buggers to a man) wrestled with the young band to get them off our equipment and off the stage. Chaos and frolics ensued". Well Angus Young claims incidents happened before and after Deep purple played.
