On April 24th in 1992, David Bowie married the love of his life model Zara Mohamed Abdulmajid or Iman for short. The couple originally meet on a blind date and the connection to one another only grew from there. Well there relationship was kept very private you just knew that it was rock solid. "My marriage is exactly as fabulous as you all would think," the model said. On this day in 1972 after nearly five years of dating Priscilla and Elvis Presley decided to finally call it quits. Priscilla moved out of his California home and into her own apartment to live her own life. When asked by Loose Women in November 2016 the then 71 year old actress opened up about her marriage to a super star. Saying he never really wanted to go out because no matter where he went he would always have people taking pictures of him, being photographed with a fork in your mouth wasn't how he wanted to be seen. On this day Amy Winehouse won five different prizes at the 2008 Grammys, including song of the year (Rehab), record of the year (Rehab), best new artist, best female pop vocal performance (Rehab) and best pop vocal album (Back to Black). Unfortunately the troubled artist was unable to attend and accept the awards in person due to visa issues. Even thought she was not able to attend in person she did not let that stop her from stealing the room. Via satellite she gave her acceptance speech and tribute to her incarcerated husband, "My Blake incarcerated."

On this day January 16th in 1980 Paul McCartney had a less than pleasurable experience in Japan. Well traveling on tour the former Beatles member got caught with a half-pound of cannabis at customs. "When the fellow pulled it out of the suit case, he looked more embarrassed than me," McCartney said "I think he just wanted to put it back in and forget about the whole thing, you know, but there it was." That's right on this day January 12th in 1996, ACDC started there "Ballbreaker World Tour." Starting out in Greensboro, North Carolina and ending in Christchurch, New Zealand on November 30th 1996. Each concert would begin with a wrecking ball swinging in to "destroy" half the stage provoking a great reaction from the crowd. The band would then emerge from the hole and start playing "Back in Black."
