The artist of the week is the one and only Prince, truly a legend. Prince was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he developed a passion for music. He even wrote his first song "Funk machine" at the young age of seven will playing on his father's piano. Growing up in a home where your parents were jazz musicians it's no wonder Price picked it up so quickly. When he was just 19 Prince signed his first recording contract with Warner Brother Studios.
