Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love have had a very public marriage since the day they started dating, and none of it is good. On this day in 1972 after nearly five years of dating Priscilla and Elvis Presley decided to finally call it quits. Priscilla moved out of his California home and into her own apartment to live her own life. When asked by Loose Women in November 2016 the then 71 year old actress opened up about her marriage to a super star. With heavy hearts we say goodbye to Peter Tork, the bassists in the hit rock band The Monkees. Born February 13th in 1942, Peter Halsten Thorkelson lived in Washington, D.C. Peter first joined the Monkees when he tried out for the fictional pop group that was to star on a sitcom of the same name. He starred on that program from 1966-1968 with fellow band members Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz and Mick Nesmith. This day in music history -

On this day Amy Winehouse won five different prizes at the 2008 Grammys, including song of the year (Rehab), record of the year (Rehab), best new artist, best female pop vocal performance (Rehab) and best pop vocal album (Back to Black). Unfortunately the troubled artist was unable to attend and accept the awards in person due to visa issues. Even thought she was not able to attend in person she did not let that stop her from stealing the room. Via satellite she gave her acceptance speech and tribute to her incarcerated husband, "My Blake incarcerated."
